GENERAL:


Q: How many bottles do I have to order?

There is a minimum order requirement of 60 bottles.

Q: How long from when I order do I receive my bottles?

This depends on the size of the order, and time of year. End-of-year / staff function gifts and Christmas gifts are popular so the lead time over this period will increase.

Q: Do you deliver?

Delivery isn't part of the standard service package but can be arranged on special request. Details regarding packaging, size and weight will be needed.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, an upfront fee of 50% will be required before production starts.

Q: What kind of file does my logo need to be?

Coreldraw.

Q: I don't have a logo in the correct format. What can I do?

If your logo is in another "vector" format (i.e. Freehand, Illustrator) we can convert it to the right format. If your logo is an image (.bmp or .jpg file) it can be redrawn by our inhouse graphic designer, for a small extra fee.

Q: Can you use my design "as is" if I do supply it in the correct format?

Not necessarily. For example a really complex logo might have to be simplified to get the best result.

Q: What is the smallest writing that can be on the bottle?

There is a limit to the size of the lettering, but this will be assessed on an individual basis.

Q: What is the biggest area that can be utilized?

The working surface of a standard 750ml wine bottle is 80mm horizontally and 120mm vertically.



WINE:


Q: Can I supply my own wine?

Yes. Please confirm with us that the shape of the bottle is suitable.

Q: What wines are available?

Different wine and varieties are available at different times of the year. Please contact us for more information.

Q: Is the shape of the bottle important?

Yes. Certain logos look better on a Burgundy shape bottle and others on a Claret shape. You can view the different styles here

Q: Does it need to be a bottle of wine? Are there other options?

Port, brandy or whiskey bottles are also favourites because of the extended shelf life, but engraving can be done on any glass objects. The main consideration is the thickness of the glass
